Up for sale is this Caucasian Shashqa Sword / Saber. Fine heavy blade 31 inches long, engraved with sun and moon symbols and other marking. Chased silver handle with niello decoration. Wood scabbard with two silver fittings. Good condition of blade and handle. The scabbard is worn, seams open and some losses to the leather. The tip is missing. An attractive restoration project which might result with a great sword.
