Up for sale is this very unusual sword - A combination of a yataghan blade and a Kilij handle, from the Balkan, probably from Serbia. The very long well made Yataghan blade is 32 inches long, with a fuller along the spine. The blade is marked and signed on both faces. The handle with horn grips and brass cross guard is of a Kilij form. Later wood scabbard with engraved brass fitting and leather cover (recent). Good condition. Lightly pitted blackened blade. Total length 38 inches. Good fighting sword.
