Up for sale is this very fine Qajar style Persian shield from the 1850’s. 20 inches in diameter, whole steel, in elaborate chiseled flowers work, with a central face and Farsi calligraphy on the perimeter. All inlaid in gold koftgary decoration. Very good condition. Good quality chiseling.
