This Holder for a Yataghan sword is a very rare piece, hardly seen on the market. It was attached to the girdle and was used to hold the Yataghan sword worn by a warrior. Several layers of heavy leather decorated with white metal (or silver?) tacks and colored (glass?) stones. 19 X 8 ½ inches. Good condition. The girdle itself is missing. The Yataghan shown in the photo is for demo only and NOT for sale.
