Blade is slender, wedge cross section, 31 inches long (straight line), forged from very fine Sham (Turkish wootz), but with a very low contrast and hardly seen. The blade is decorated with gold Koftgai inlay on both sides of the blade top. Black horn grips with engraved silver cross guard and grip strap. Wood scabbard with the fabric cover and big engraved locket and chape. Total length 38 inches. Next to excellent condition A piece of great beauty and interest.
