Very Good Knife from Bosnia Herzogovina, late 19 C. - 7438

A very typical knife from Bosnia & Hertzegovina, from the very short period of independence before the annexation to the Austro-Hungarian Empire at the end of the 19th C. The blade is straight, single edge, 8 ½ inches long, marked with a maker sign in the shape of a small saber. The grips are ivory, set with brass dots and circles. The scabbard is wood covered with thin chased brass. Very good condition. Few of the inlay pieces on the grips are missing. Minor damages on the scabbard.
