Right from our private collection we offer for sale a nice and good Qama / Kindjal dagger from Georgia. Classical double edge blade 15 inches long with deep off set fullers. Grip carved from a solid piece of horn and decorated with elaborate silver filigree work and niello design. The scabbard is mounted with big silver locket and chape, also heavily ornamented with filigree silver work on the front face and niello design on the rear face. The locket rear face is inscribed in Georgian (?) language also in Niello work. Original leather cover on the scabbard. Total length 21 inches. Very good condition with small pitted spots on the blade and minor edge nick. Good original item, late 19 or early 20C. in original condition.
