We offer here a good large Ottoman Kindjal / Qama dagger or short sword. probably from East Turkey with a strong Persian / Caucasian influence. The blade shape is of the typical Caucasian /Persian Qama / Kindjal dagger, but the fittings and decoration work is Ottoman. It has a nice horn hilt with two large round rosettes set with coral. Wood scabbard with the original leather cover, stitched in the correct spiral stitching and two large engraved brass mounts in the Ottoman fashion. Blade 19 inches. Total length 27 1/2 inches. Very Good condition.
