Avery fine 18 C. Turkish Miquelet rifle with octgonal shaped barrel, 43 inches long, forged from Damascus steel and heavily inlaid with gold on the muzzle and breech. The rear sight is pierced with two apertures and also inlaid with gold. The barrel is bound with five engraved silver bands. The lock is also inlaid with gold. The stock is heavily decorated with brass rondels and white and green stained bone pieces. Ramrod included.Total length 55 inches. Very good condition. Some signs of old repairs to the stock wood and few brass / bone pieces are missing. The Lock has all parts but the trigger needs adjustment
