An Old Tuareg brass Arm dagger - 7266


This is one of the many Variants of the Arm Dagger carried by the Tuareg. I t is called Telek or Gozma, and one of its characteristics is the cross shaped pommel (A relic from their Christian origin ??) . This specific one has a brass Pommel and a tooled leather scabbard and arm ring. The blade is double edged, 10 ½ inches long. The hilt is cast brass. Total length (in scabbard) 17 inches. Good condition.
