A very fine Kindjal dagger, probably from Kubachi in Dagestan. Classical blade with off-centered fullers and horn grips. The front grip is covered with a steel plate, richly decorated gold Koftgary work. So are the scabbard mounts. This item comes with its original belt decorated in the same manner.
