This is an examples of a Tibetan Short sword also known as Tsep-sa . The 15 inches blade is single edged. The handle is composed of pierced and brass, the upper one set with a small turquoise stone and with the grip bound with wire. The scabbard is wood in a U shaped steel frame. The lower part of the scabbard is decorated with chased silver plate and silver button. Total length 23 inches. Good condition. The handle is very slightly loose.
