We offer for sale this interesting dagger, comprising an old, probably early 19 C. blade with later early 20 C. handle and scabbard. The blade is 8 inches long, curved and double edge, of very fine wootz (Damascus) steel. Handle is made of embossed silver in a classical style of India and the scabbard is wood covered with the original fabric and original silver tip. Total length 14 inches. Good condition. Some denting to the handle silver and the central part of the grip has been repaired. Although it is a late marriage of the blade with the handle, it is still a very attractive item and one of quality. Very low price.
