Up for sale is this very nice and complete Yataghan sword. A classical down curving blade, 22 ½ inches long. Marked with a maker sign, inscribed in Arabic lettering and dated on the spine to 1225 (1810 in the Gregorian Calendar). The hilt is chiseled silver. The scabbard is wood, covered with the original fine tooled leather stitced in the spiral stitching. Total length 33 inches. Good condition. There is a later repair to the right pommel ear and the scabbard tip is a bit worn.
