Up for sale is this very good and unusual war dagger of the Saka people from central Zaire. 13 ½ inches long and 5 inches wide blade. Wood handle and wide fan like steel pommel bound with flat copper strip. Total 21 inches. Very good condition. Damaged edge in two places, Shining old age black patina with few patches of rust and shallow pitting. No scabbard. A similar sword is shown in Beaute Fatale Arme the Afrique Centrale page 217, Fig. 397
