Few of the many Kindjal daggers will come with a slightly curved blade, like the one offered here for sale. The 12 inches double edge blade is very elaborately etched with a delicate floral design and deeply marked with a maker mark. The horn grips are riveted to the tang with silver rivets and silver collar. The wood scabbard is covered with its original leather (black on the front and red on the rear and it is also mounted with silver fittings, marked and decorated with a very nice niello design. Very good condition. Minor shallow pitted spots on the blade. very nice age patina on the silver parts. The rivets heads are later. Rare and unusual Kindjal
