This is a classical Kurdish Jambiya dagger with decoration of North Iraq style. Double edge curved blade with a central rib 9 ¼ inches long. I shaped hilt carved from a single piece of water buffalo horn. Wood scabbard with black tooled leather and fine silver fittings with delicate niello decoration and river scene drawings. Total length 15 inches. Very good condition.
