Up for sale is this very attractive knife from the East Mediterranean, probably Balkan or Turkish 19 C. 6 ½ inches single edge blade probably made from an old file. Finely filed and cut spine. Walrus ivory / horn grips set with small brass and mother of pearl rondels and set with engraved silver strips. Wood scabbard covered with red/brown leather. Total length 11 ½ inches. Good condition. Few rondells are mssing. Scabbard leather worn.
