This is a very good example of the knife from the island of Crete in the Mediterranean. The 7 ½ inches single edge blade, typically engraved is mounted with Ivory grips widening toward the pommel in a form of split ears. The bolster and grip strap are engraved pewter. Wood scabbard covered with green dyed leather. Total length in scabbard 12 inches. Very good condition. Tip of pommel missing. All parts original and in excellent shape. No replacements or restorations.
