Up for sale is this authentic cane shield usually carried by the Tutsi and Huta as well as several neighboring tribes in Rwanda, Burundi and Uganda. It is made of braided canes with a central wood piece shaped and styled like a human face. 13 ½ inches wide and 27 ½ inches long. Good condition. Minor damage to the canes one edge. Rare and authentic.
