This is a 19 C. Club from new Guinea, with a black stone disk shaped head, 4 ½ inches in diameter, mounted on a 31 inches wood haft and secured in place by a braided rattan sleeve. Good condition, good age patina on the stone and the haft and only minor chips on the stone head. Quite a scarce item and an important addition to any weapon / tribal art collection.
