Up for sale is this very fine good quality dagger of the Lobala people from Northern Zaire. Very typical in the blade shape and big wood handle with flared pommel. The blade is 10 inches long; spearhead shape with a central fuller and with the original blackened center patina. The wide handle is more than 5 inches wide, carved from very nice grained wood. This dagger comes with its original scabbard, wood covered with black hide and bound with brass strips. Excellent condition. A very fine dagger for the conassaire collector of African weapons.
