We offer for sale this 19 C. very nice massive Ottoman / Balkan (probably Albanian) Jambiya dagger, with very large Very Curved, very long 12 1/2 inches blade forged from fine Wootz (Damascus) steel with a very unusal strong pronaunsd central rib. Elegant 6 1/2 inches long and more than 2 inches wide handle cut entirely from a single piece of walrus ivory. Wood scabbard covered with black leather. Total length 20 1/4 inches (in scabbard). Very good condition. A very impressive item and one of quality.
