The Badek (or Badik) is a dagger / heavy knife from Java, Indonesia. It is characterized by its short heavy blade usually single edge with straight back and up-curving edge, and the pistol grip shape handle. This one is unusual in its blade shape: spear like with two fullers, 12 inches long. The handle and scabbard are made from beautiful dark grained wood. Very good condition. Nice patina to the blade as well as to the wood parts.
