This heavy and impressive sword is a very rare form of a Yatagan, employing a saber curved blade. 29 inches long with a 8 ½ inches back edge. Horn grips with eared pommel in a style reminding the Greek Yatagans / Daggers. Silver bolster and grip strap. Leather covered scabbard with silver fittings. All in very good plus condition. Minor pitted spots near the blade tip and an old leather patch on the scabbard tip. All parts original and authentic. A very rare piece for the serious collectors of Yatagans.
