19 C. Spanish Navaja Knife - 6130

A big Spanish folding knife known also as Navaja . It was extensively used in Spain during the 18 and 19 Centuries to cut food as well as to settle personal accounts, and found as a man best companion still today. This one is a 19 Century piece made by Beauvoir signed and marked with the maker sign. 7 inches blade with a 4 inches clipped tip. Handle set with ivory and tortoise shell panels and brass fittings. Total length 14 inches fully opened. Very good condition. Traces of etching on the blade, and minor dents to the brass fittings.
