This is a very rare shield from Nepal. The steel disk is 9 inches in diameter mounted with steel dome in the center and decorated with engraved brass circles. The two handles one in a blade and one in a ring shape are attached to the steel disk with steel rivets. This is a very unusual authentic piece dated to the late 19 C. in a good condition. The ring shaped handle is newly restored.
